The owners want 2 billion, but they already get 1 million. The union wants a equal share in revenue which you can't fault them for. The owners want an eighteen game schedule, and two less preseason games, which I think is absolutely ridiculous, because even though I love football, you have to think on the players, and how much this would affect them, as preseason and regular season just do not have the same intensity level. I have to part with the players on this one, due to the fact that they are the ones playing on the field risking their post-career lives. Also, considering that players in the Major League Baseball have guaranteed contracts, I think the NFL players should have guaranteed contracts because baseball requires less physical abilities than football, and you are much more likely to get a concussion in football than baseball. It may seem the NFL players get too much, but they need so much money to cover up post contract issues such as medical disabilities earned from the playing career. Should Alex Rodriguez get 275 Million guaranteed contract from the Yankees, but someone like Tom Brady will get 80 Million IF he reaches all his incentives.
